Images Tab Simply add the images that you want to this screen in the order that you want them to appear in the output PDF.

You can either use the "Add Image" button that brings up the standard Windows file browsing dialog or just drag and drop the images.

If you want you can add a color border around the edges of the image - try adding a small white border for that classic Polaroid™ look.

Meta Information Tab Once you have added all of the images that you want you can add some "meta" information that describes the PDF that you create.

Don't forget that all settings are automatically saved and used the next time you open up the Image to PDF Desktop Application.

This makes it easy to have some standard settings such as your name and website address along with any copyright information that you might want and never have to enter them again.

Settings Tab You can set password access control on your PDF as well as defining what actions (such as edit, copy or print) that you want to allow a user to perform.

Not only that but you can also control whether the PDF that you create has bookmarks (this is also known as the outline) and how they should appear and be named.

Viewer Tab You can control how the PDF viewer will display your PDF document - we recommend just setting the "Center Window" and "Fit Window" options.

You can also create a PDF slideshow by selecting one of the standard PDF page transitions and the duration that each page is displayed for.

Note: PDF slideshows only work when the PDF viewer is put into fullscreen mode.

Miscellaneous Tab Why not add a logo or copyright image with a link to your web site that will be stamped automatically on every page in the output PDF.

You can also convert each image into it's own PDF if you want.

Again all settings are automatically saved and used the next time you open up the Image to PDF Desktop Application so you can have a standard clickable image stamp added to all of the PDFs that you create by just entering this information once.

Bates Tab Perhaps you need to keep track of the documents that you have converted to PDF.

We have a very flexible Bates page/document numbering facility that allows you to use a combination of static and dynamic text which can include a standard incrementing Bates number and additional items such as the date and time.

You can of course place this Bates "number" where you like on the page and control the font and colors used.

Transform Tab You might need to ensure that all the images are in portrait orientation (especially if you are aquiring images from an external source), try using one of the "Auto" options for this.

If you have scanned documents sometimes the scanning process can add unwanted color around fine detail and text when scanning black and white documents - not a problem, just select the "grayscale" option.

If you have JPEG images, these might have been produced at a very high quality level resulting in large image files. If this is the case and your requirements allow, why not try re-compressing the images to a lower quality level (a quality level of 6 is normally a good compromise between quality and file size).

WMF/EMF Control Tab If you are converting WMF or EMF files (especially if these have been produced by an application's internal reporting facility) you should ensure that you convert these using our highly acclaimed "native" PDF conversion.

This will convert WMF and EMF files which contain Windows GDI commands into their native PDF equivalents - this is very fast and produces scalable output with a much smaller file size.
