There are three different versions of the Image to PDF utility depending on your needs:

Image to PDF Desktop Application is a fully featured Windows application which has been designed to be both easy and intuitive to use. This version of Image to PDF provides the quickest and most accessible way to convert images into PDF documents.

However, because the Desktop Application uses a graphical user interface, it is not suitable for repetitive tasks as it requires manual operation.

Image to PDF Command Line Tool is ideal for repetitive and batch oriented tasks including CGI integration. It is run from a DOS command line environment (or batch file) and is controlled through the use of parameters that are passed to it when it is run. These parameters can also be used within command (script) files which are themselves passed as parameters to the utility.

This version is ideal for processing multiple directories full of images as wildcard filenames can be used and there is an option that looks for matching filenames in all sub-directories as well.

Image to PDF Dynamic Link Library (DLL) provides the ultimate flexibility (and is ROYALTY FREE!) and exposes the full functionality of the utility through an Application Programming Interface (API) that can be included and used with most development environments regardless of language used.

API interfaces are provided for Microsoft C/C++, Clarion, LabVIEW, Visual Basic 6, Borland C++ Builder and for .net using Interop Services for C#, C++, J# and Visual Basic.
